LELAND TRAVIS WILSON, JR., of Independence, LA, passed away on Saturday, June 
15, 2013 at St. Theresa Hospice in Kenner, LA.

Beloved husband of Dianna Wilson for the past 15 years.
Father of Todd Wilson, Bambi Wilson, Brandy Ward, Jacob Wilson, and Brenda 
“Cookie” Konotopov.
Son of Leland Travis Wilson, Sr. (Dottie Wilson) and Joan House Schaefer (Karl 
Schaefer).
Brother of Kristy Neal (Robert Neal).
Also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Age 55 years; a native of Meraux, LA and a resident of Independence, LA for the 
past 3 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA on Thursday, 
June 20, 2013 at 7:00pm. Visitation will be held at the church from 5:30pm-
7:00pm.

Donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital is preferred, in lieu of flowers.
