John Joseph “Joe” Bozant entered into life eternal on July 28, 2013 at the age 
of 82.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Helen Keim Bozant, their four 
children, Diane Bozant Heintzen, Kevin J. Bozant, JoEllen Taylor Chassiniol, 
and Randall L. Bozant, and four grandchildren, Christopher Heintzen, Nikolaus 
Heintzen, Matthew Taylor, and Allison Taylor Hoopes, and four great-
granddaughters. 

He is predeceased by his parents, John Joseph Bozant and Aurora Holland Bozant 
of New Orleans.

After graduating from Nicholls High School in New Orleans, he served his 
country in the National Guard Army Reserve from 1950-1953. He was an auditor 
for Hibernia Bank and studied at Tulane University. He eventually became 
president and general manager of Neo Fabrics Inc. of New Orleans. In 
retirement, he served his community with over 3,000 volunteer hours at St. 
Tammany Parish Hospital. Joe was a very active and committed member of Redeemer 
Lutheran Church in Mandeville, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 
on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Visitation from 12:00 PM until service 
time. 

Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church Building 
Fund, 1905 Hwy 59, Mandeville, LA 70448.
