AUDREY LORRAINE LYONS DOUCET, age 85 years, of Slidell, LA on Friday, July 12, 
2013.

Beloved wife of Dr. Clifton L. Doucet, Jr. for the past 66 years.
Daughter of the late Leona Pomes Lyons and Rainey Lyons.
Mother of Pamela Ciko(Wayne) and Clifton L. Doucet, III(Lisa Otke).
Sister of Carole Tilly(Lloyd), the late Virgie Mayer and Rainey Lyons, Jr.
Grandmother of the late Christopher Scott and Frederick Eugene Breeding, Jr..
She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Sylvia Doucet Stanton(Bob), numerous 
nieces, nephews, her caregiver and friend, Mary McNeil, whose dedication 
provided her comfort and joy in the last two years.

She had a deep love for her family, pets and children. She enjoyed dancing, 
gardening and crafts.
She worked as receptionist and office manager for her husband, Cliff, in his 
optometric practice.
She was a charter member of La Cotillion, a member of the Slidell Womens Civic 
Club and a Ball Captain; member and past president of the Slidell Garden Club; 
member of Ozone Camellia Club, a volunteer for over 10 years at S.M.H. Hospice, 
a Cub Scout Leader and Girl Scout volunteer.

She will be remembered for her quick smile, infectious laughter and always 
looking at the bright side of life.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of JoAnn’s Golden 
Girls and Kathleen at Canon Hospice.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Monday, July 
15, 2013 at 6:00 P.M.
Visitation on Monday after 4:00 P.M. until funeral time.

Donations to Canon Hospice or Alzheimers Association, preferred, in lieu of 
flowers
