Deborah Ann Hays recently passed away peacefully at the age of 62.

She was the daughter of the late N. Alan Hays and Marcelene Voznica Hays. 

Debbie spent most of her life in St. Tammany Parish and met many of her 
longtime friends while attending St. Scholastica Academy, Covington High 
School, LSU, and SLU. She is survived by several cousins and will be missed by 
numerous friends, her dog Leonard, and her three cats.

Debbie will be remembered for her generosity, her warmth and humor, her 
exceptional friendship, and for always running late. Unfortunately, she died 
far too early for those who loved her.

A memorial mass is scheduled on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Our 
Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mandeville. Friends and relatives will 
gather at the church at 9:00 AM, and the eulogy will begin at 9:30 AM. During a 
private ceremony, 

she will be laid to rest next to her parents at the Mandeville Cemetery.
