Thomas Carlisle passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the age of 77. 
He was a native of Marks, MS and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 43 
years.

Loving companion of Leona Bourgeois for 23 years. Beloved father of Robert 
Carlisle and his wife, Sally. He will be dearly missed by his 3 grandchildren: 
Celeste Monus, Thomas Cross Carlisle, and Cale Carlisle. Brother of the late 
Robert Carlisle. Thomas is also survived by extended family, Dawn Marie 
Bourgeois.

Tom Carlisle was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. Tom 
operated the River Forest Mart in Covington, LA. His business has been home for 
hundreds of community members to share their stories. 37 years, one owner, 
nothing fancy, plenty of advice!

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
on August 12, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, 
Covington, LA 70433 at 11:00 AM with visitation on from 9:00 AM until service 
time. 

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Thomas 
Carlisle be made to St. Tammany Hospice, www.sthfoundation.org, or Child 
Advocacy Services of Hammond, www.childadv.net.
