ALBERTO CASTANEDA SR, sunrise June 23, 1944. Sunset August 5, 2013. Passed away 
from a brief illness.

Beloved husband of Carolyn Patricia Watts Castaneda; son of Ernesto Castandeda 
and Elena Rangel Perales and step-son of the late Juan Perales; brother-in-law 
of Sharon Ebert and Ellen Watts and loved by many nieces and nephews. Wonderful 
father of Bert Castaneda (Holly), Barry Castaneda, Karen Roussell (Adam), 
Kathryn Castaneda, Valentino Castaneda, April Clayton (Daniel); twenty beloved 
grandchildren: Aaron, Emeli, Nicole, Heather, Meghan, Kayla, Christopher, 
Laila, Kerri, Brooke, Brandon, Jenny, Caiden, Nikki, Preston, and Jaxson, Chaz, 
Tyler, Andrew, Jose, and five great-grandchildren. Loving Brother of Rose 
Stahnecker (Dusty), Alicia Whitehead, Irma Torres, Maria Elena Fuger, Sylvia 
Maerz, Maria Medellin, Gloria Kootros, Ester Jowett Lorenzo, Pete Perales, and 
the late Martin, Dianne, and Juan Perales. 

Very dedicated and loyal I.B.E.W. Local 130 for 40 years, a loyal Saints fan, a 
coach of soccer and baseball for many years 

and a loyal, wonderful people who have been helping us through this was Cheryl 
and Paul Shea, Tricia Bayonna, Tosh and Jose. Thanks to each of you.

His celebration of life with family will be on August 17, 2013 from 4:00pm 
until 6:00pm at Christ Gospel Church of Slidell, 3228 City Drive, Slidell.
