John F. Felker, III passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013. 
He was born May 4, 1951 the son of John Franklin Felker, Jr. and Margery 
Bonnecarrere Felker and was a life long resident of Covington, LA.

The beloved husband of Susan Minix Felker, he is survived by four children – 
Angela Felker LeBlanc (Lawrence), Joshua John Felker (Shanna), Matthew Ryan 
Meeks (Ashley) and Jenna Lauren Holcombe; one sister - Barbara Felker Knight; 
two brothers - Paul J. Felker and T. Rene Felker and four grandchildren - Mia 
LeBlanc, Madison Felker, Ethan Meeks and Haylee Holcombe. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Patricia Felker 
Rosevalley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend wake services to take place 
Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 6-9:00 PM. Visitation will begin Wednesday, 
August 21, 2013 at 9:00 AM with the funeral service at 10:00 AM.

Following Wednesday's services and cremation, John's family will gather 
privately for his final disposition and interment.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to encourage friends to donate blood 
or contact the Blood Center for Southeast Louisiana by call (985) 641-4400 for 
memorial donations.
