Herbert Nathaniel Plunk passed away on Friday, August 16, 2013 at the age of 
81.

Beloved husband of 39 years to JoAnn Burnam Plunk. 
Loving father of three sons, Michael, Wayne and John Plunk; four step-sons, 
Robert, Donnie, Michael and Thomas (Holly) Gautier. 
Son of the late Eula Bertha Plunk and Matthew Lee Plunk. 
Brother of Ralph, Claude (Shirley) Plunk and Vergie P. Adams and the late 
Theodore, Earnest and Donald Plunk. 
Brother-in-law to Martha M. Rue and Dan Burnam. 

He is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and 
numerous other relatives and friends.

Mr. Plunk was a native of Tennessee and a longtime resident of south Louisiana 
primarily Covington.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service 
on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Red Bluff Baptist Church, 15204 Highway 1078, 
Folsom, LA 70437 at 4:00 PM with a reception at church following.

Donations in memory of Mr. Plunk may be made to Hospice of St. Tammany.
