TOMMIE HEBBLER, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013.

She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel R. Mendez.
Mother of, Sonny Mendez and wife, Rose of Metairie,LA ; Dolores Lackey and 
husband, Bobby of Slidell, LA, and Rose Gourgeot and husband, Denis of Memphis, 
TN.
Daughter of the late, Abraham and Librada Valasquez.
Sister of: Ray, Joe and Abie Velasquez; Consuelo “Chetta” Hernandez; the late 
Lupe Guerra, Leo Casteneda, Carmen Tagle.
Also survived by, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great- great 
grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was 90 years old and a native of Kansas City, Kansas.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.

Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
