Dr. Joseph George Juracovich passed away peacefully at home on Monday, 
September 30, 2013 surrounded by his family. 

He was born on November 10, 1929 to Anton George and Clara Bautovich Juracovich 
and has been a resident of Mandeville for the past 20 years.

The beloved husband of Lorena Trevathan Juracovich, he is survived by three 
daughters - Janet Juracovich, JoAnne Lyons and Julie Juracovich; four 
grandchildren - Jennifer Hajjar, Joshua Pitre, Adam Miller and Alexander 
Gautreaux; one great grandchild, Daxton Pitre and many dear friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister – Rosary Paula Walker. 

A graduate from LSU Medical School in 1954, Dr. Joe practiced internal medicine 
in Raceland, LA until his retirement. He was also a devoted parishioner of Our 
Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mandeville. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial mass at 
12:00 Noon on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic 
Church, 312 Lafitte St., Mandeville, LA 70448. Visitation AT THE CHURCH will 
take place from 11:00 AM until mass.

E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington, LA has been entrusted with the 
arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the American Heart 
Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX
