PALMER, NELVIN L 
October 27, 1942  - August 12, 2013

Nelvin "Mel" Louis Palmer passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013 in 
Covington. 

Born in New Orleans and lived on the Northshore for 32 years and retired from 
Bell South Telecommunications. 

Long time husband of the late Ann Dore Palmer for 48 years. 
Devoted father Lisa Strain (Jack), Alan Palmer, Kim Loyd (Chris), Jill Mathies 
(John), Ann King (Jerome) and Marcy Mullen. 
Grandfather of Rhett and Rachel Strain, Joseph and John Palmer, Aaron, Steven, 
and Jennie Dufrene, Ryan and Susan Palmer, Colleen and Julie Mathies, Jace, 
Josh, Joel and Ann King, Brian Hill, Brett and Clarence Mullen and the late 
Rodney Strain, III. 
Brother of Joy Coleman and Theresa Loustanau. 
Son of the late Carrington and Ona Mae Palmer.

A private graveside service will be held at Abita Cemetery, Abita Springs, LA.
