Lionel A. “Sonny” Bernardi, Jr. was born November 25, 1934 and passed away on 
Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in Covington, LA.

Son of the late Lionel A. Bernardi, Sr. and the late Barbara McCabe Bernardi.
Loving husband of Ann David de Gruy Bernardi. Step-father of Glenn de Gruy 
(spouse Gretchen), Angele de Gruy Darling (spouse Gary), Ann de Gruy Jemison 
(spouse David) 9 grandchildren, 6 precious great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM on 
Saturday, November 2, 2013 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. 
Covington, LA 70433.

Visitation on Saturday will begin at 10:00 AM.

Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA will immediately 
follow Mass.
