Jennie was married to Hurley Roy Everard for the past 63 years, whom she often referred to as her “boyfriend or gorgeous man”. Mother of Anne Bankston, Jann Tilley, David Everard(Carmel), Elliott Everard(Angie), the late Lynn E Quebedeaux, Frann Everard and Hurley Everard. Daughter of the late Johnny and Katie Schembre. Sister of Joseph L. Schembre. Also survived by her grandchildren; Adrienne Quebedeaux Seuzeneau, Alexander Quebedeaux, Amanda Bankston, Lauren Canty, Jordan Tilley-Rodriguez, Taylor Everard, Blake Everard and Jack Everard; great grandchildren; Savannah Seuzeneau, Kaitlynn Seuzeneau,Roy Quebedeaux, Jasemine Bankston-Younce Madeline Pichon, Isaac Canty, Bailey Canty and Emily Rodriguez. A loving mother and homemaker, Jennie was an excellent cook and was happiest when her dinner table was crowded with family and friends enjoying her meticulously prepared meal followed by the most incredible homemade dessert. A native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Slidell. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass At Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 Westchester Blvd, Slidell, LA on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans. Visitation at the church on Friday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time. Donations to American Diabetes Association, preferred, in lieu of flowers. ===================
