Joseph M. Johnson passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the age of 78.

Beloved husband of 36 years to Dolores Johnson. Loving father of Brian Johnson, 
Jo Ann Ender (Joseph), Margaret Arndt (William), Elaine Bruhl (Kyle), Marilyn 
Johnson, Pauline Hebert (Daniel) and Kevin Johnson. Son of the late Margaret 
Lytell Johnson Brooks and Joseph Frank Johnson. Nephew of Manuel Lytell. Also 
survived by ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He was a fifty year member of Local 798 Pipefitters and Welders. He was a 
longtime member of Mandeville Lions Club, officer of Northlake Model A Club, 
member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and a parishioner of Our Lady of the 
Lake Catholic Church. He enjoyed being with family and friends, helping others 
and was an avid outdoorsman.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on 
Friday, October 18, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte 
St., Mandeville, LA 70448 at 11:00 AM with visitation at church on Friday from 
10:00 AM until Mass time followed by a Celebration of Life at the Mandeville 
Lions Club, 720 Lafitte St., Mandeville, LA 70448.
