DOROTHY “DOT” COTHERN PERKINS, 87, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, 
October 10, 2013.

Beloved Wife of the late George A. Perkins;
Mother of Delores P. Napolitano (husband the late Joseph Napolitano), and Diane 
Huebner (husband Jim);
Daughter of the late Albert and Ella Cothern;
Sister of the late Jack Cothern, Bobby Jean Aurbach, Billy Ray Cothern;
Grandmother of Tracy Napolitano (wife Barbara), Stacey Berger (husband 
Michael), Merry Williams (husband Dennis), Kerry Napolitano (Salenas), Heather 
Savoie (husband Troy), and the late Trevis Huebner; and eight great-
grandchildren: Nicholas, Lillian, Jaynee, Anthony, Grace, Jay, Troy Jr., and 
Samantha.

A native of Bogalusa, Louisiana, Dot was a resident of Slidell for over 30 
years. She was a square dancer with the Tammany Twirlers, and a member of the 
Cajun Queens Bowling League. She was employed by Manheim Auto Auction in 
Slidell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church, 58203 Hwy 433, Slidell, La. on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 
11:00 a.m., with the recitation of the Rosary at 10:45 a.m.

Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 

followed by a Celebration of her life to be held at the Tammany Twirlers Hall, 
35386 Home Estates Drive, Slidell.
