THOMAS D. WILLIS SR, 89, of Slidell, LA, passed away peacefully, with his 
family at his side, on Tuesday, October 22, 2013.

Beloved Husband of Marilyn L. Willis;
Father of Richard Lilly, Lonnie Lilly, Brian Willis, Hope Howell, Dawn 
Nuschler, Darlene West, Regina Clavin, Star Flower, Marilyn Williams, and the 
late Thomas Willis Jr, and Irlene Willis;
Son of the late Edgar Willis and Ruby Krey Willis; step-son of the late David 
Eddlestone;
Brother of the late Edgar Willis Jr., Joseph Willis, and Ruby Miller;
Also survived by 33 grandchildren, and 41 great-grandchildren.

A native of New Orleans, and a resident of Slidell for the past 25 years, Mr. 
Willis served in the U.S. Navy in World War II in the Armed Guard. He was a bus 
driver for NOPSI and TMSEL for 37 years.

Relatives, friends of the family, member of VFW and NOPSI-RTA Transit Retirees, 
are invited to attend the funeral.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 1:00 P.M.
Friends are invited to attend a visitation at the funeral home on Thursday 
evening from 6:00pm until 9:00pm, and on Friday from 11:00am until service 
time.

Interment will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
