Mary Sue Barber, born July 8, 1929, Morganton, North Carolina and resident of 
Slidell, LA passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the age of 84.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years Edward Henry Barber, Jr.

Loving mother of Edna Rose Barber; Bill Barber and wife Brenda; Alice Barber 
Heck and husband, Charles; Wayne Thomas Barber; Teresa Barber Ducote and 
husband, Morris; and Mary Barber Larsen and husband, Gregory.
Sister of, “Buddy” Lingerfelt.

Grandchildren: Brian Barber; Brad Barber; Ashley Barber Roubique and husband, 
Chaize; Nicolle Guice; Amanda Heck; Lori Barber Moore and husband, Jeremy; 
Zachary, Travis and Jackson Ducote; and Samantha Mary Larsen.

Great Grandchildren: Daniel Roubique and Cohen Thomas Moore

Services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 Westchester 
PL, Slidell, LA ,Saturday, November 30, 2013. Visitation from 10:00 AM until 
Funeral Mass at 12 noon.

Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell LA

Reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus hall located at 1578 West Hall 
Avenue, Slidell, LA 70460

Sue was a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary Council #2732 and a 
member of the Red Hats Society

In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic 
Church or the Knights of Columbus Council #2732 in Slidell, LA.
