Beloved Wife of the late Walter Robert “Bob” Casanova; Mother of Ranee Casanova Moore (husband Brian), and Marty Casanova (girlfriend Caroline); Daughter of the late Will and Jennie Marty; Sister of Bob Marty, Gene Marty, and the late Roselle Zickafoose, Oma Lee Snow, Edrice Dodson, Johnnie Marty, Homer Marty, and James Marty. Also survived by four grandchildren: Brian Moore, Jr., Lauren Meeks, Caitlin Moore, Jacob Moore; her very dear friend Karl Widas, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Inez was a native of Cullman County, Alabama, and a resident of Slidell for over 48 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE BLVD, WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 9:00 am. Burial will be at Palestine Cemetery in Picayune, Mississippi. Inez wore many hats…..mom, wife, second mom, Tez, Aunt Inez, Ms. Nezzie, and impatiently waited a long time for her most prized title, that of Mimi. She never met a stranger and was guaranteed to become your new best friend. The one comment that keeps being repeated by so many friends is that they fell in love with her the moment they met her. Another comment that sums up Inez….Spending eternity with Jesus is an amazing thing. I’m sure she’s putting a smile on His face. In lieu of flowers, donations to First Baptist Christian School, 4141 Pontchartrain Drive, Slidell, LA 70458 are appreciated. ===================
