Marie Gardette Cheeseman passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Ochsner 
Hospital, Slidell at 90 years of age. 

Loving wife of the late Emile E. Gardette, Sr. and Charles J. Cheeseman. 
Devoted mother of Emile E. Gardette, Jr., and David W. Gardette and the late 
Michael G. Gardette. Sister of the late Lillian C. Stowell. Godmother of Linda 
Stowell Lopez and Lynn Maria Gonzales Cahill. Grandmother of Michael A. 
Gardette (Nicole) and Michelle Gardette Ruffino (Joseph) and Rachel Marie 
Gardette. Great grandmother of Samuel, Sophia, Jude, Giada, Guiliana and 
Gabriel.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian 
Burial on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 7300 
Crowder Blvd., New Orleans at 1:00 pm. Visitation from 11:00 am until Mass 
time. 

Interment immediately following at St. Roch #1.
