Gabriela "Gaby" Baham Scheaffer, a resident of Chalmette, LA passed away on 
Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the age of 47 after a 3 year fight with cancer. 

She was the cherished wife of Bryan Anthony Scheaffer. Loving mother of 
Nicholas Harper and Taylor Ann Scheaffer. Daughter of Melton Baham and Waltraud 
Anthes Baham. Sister of Thomas Baham (Valerie), Eva Baham Braase (Mike). 
She is also survived and fondly remembered by her in-laws Denise Scheaffer 
Guerra (Manuel), Brad Scheaffer, Lisa Scheaffer Ford (Rick), Linda Scheaffer, 
along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. 

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Beverly Rizan Scheaffer, her 
father-in-law Walter Scheaffer and her brother-in-law Richard G. Scheaffer.

Gaby was a dedicated and loyal employee of Bourgeois Bennett; IMG Medical; and 
Chalmette Middle School. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by her 
family and by all those whose lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend an evening visitation to be held at 
ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, 
November 29th from 6:00PM – 10:00PM.

Visitation on Saturday, November 30th will be held at E.J. FIELDING FUNERAL 
HOME, 2260 West 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 from 12:00PM – 2:00PM, followed 
by a funeral service beginning at 2:00PM.

Burial will take place in A. Baham Cemetery in Folsom, LA. (11272 St. John 
Church Rd., Folsom, LA 70437)
