Eunice Blow Wager passed away on Friday, November 01, 2013 in Covington, LA. A 
life long resident of Madisonville, she was born Thursday, May 21, 1914 to John 
A. and Mary Albertine Chadwick Blow.

The beloved wife of the late Henry Wager, she is survived by three children: 
Chester Wager (Mary Alice), Cyril Wager (Mary Jane), Dale Wager Matlock 
(Melvin); 20 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren and 19 great-great 
grandchildren. 

Three of her grandchildren and one niece were especially close and gave of 
their time and efforts to Ms. Eunice and the family would like to thank: Kevin 
and Gail Wager, Sharon Moore and Peggy Williams.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two children: Marion Young and 
Harold Wager; three sisters: Mae Cannon, Ollie McLain and Susie Thompson; six 
brothers: Julius, Ezra, John and Edward Blow, Bill and Gus Cox and two 
grandchildren.

She retired from Southeast Louisiana Hospital in Mandeville in 1976. She was a 
woman that loved the Lord and going to church to worship with her church 
family. She loved her extended family gathering at her home during Easter, 
Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 11:00 AM on 
Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Bedico Baptist Church, 28156 Hwy 22 Ponchatoula, 
LA 70454.

A wake is scheduled to take place at the church on Monday, November 4, 2013 
from 6-9:00 PM and at the church again on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service 
time.

Interment at the Wager Cemetery in Madisonville, LA will immediately follow 
services.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Bedico Baptist Church Building 
Fund.
