Louis Russell Bruhl, age 85, passed away on December 10, 2013. 

He was the son of the late Frank and Tressie Sharp Bruhl.

Russell was the beloved husband of the late Rosita Heine Bruhl for 57 years. He 
was the loving father of Dennis W. Bruhl (Kathy), Sue B. Morris (Steve), Linda 
B. Brandon (Ted), and Richard R. Bruhl (Ines). He was the proud grandfather of 
Melissa B. Magliolo, Leslie B. Ballard (Jeremy), Holly Brandon, Abbey Brandon, 
Nick Brandon, Allison Bruhl and Ashley Bruhl. He was the great-grandfather of 
Tyler Randall. Russell was the brother of Audrey Oalmann, Cora Lynn Loyd 
(Elwood), and the late Allen Bruhl, J.W. Bruhl and Margaret Sloper.

Russell was a life-long resident of Folsom, LA. He served in the Merchant 
Marines and was a U.S Army veteran of the Korean War. After his military 
service, he was employed by the Coca-Cola Bottling Company for 36 years. 
Russell was a long-time member of Red Bluff Baptist Church.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service AT 
THE CHURCH on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Red Bluff Baptist 
Church, 15204 Hwy 1078, Folsom, Louisiana 70437. A Wake will be held at E.J. 
Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, 
December 12, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A Visitation will take place on 
Friday, December 13, 2013 AT THE CHURCH from 9:00 AM until Service Time. 

A Graveside Service will follow at Bruhl Cemetery in Folsom, LA. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Red Bluff Baptist Church, 15204 
Hwy 1078, Folsom, Louisiana 70437, or Magnolia School, 100 Central Ave., 
Jefferson, LA
