He was born in the city of Baton Rouge, on August 3, 1931. He leaves to cherish his memory a faithful and loving wife of 62 years, Janet Philbrook Isaac, five children, Cheryl Arabie (Greg) of Mandeville, Louisiana, Joseph (Joe) Isaac, III (Ann) of Houston, Texas, Cathy Welton (Ralph) of Clemson, South Carolina, Christy Reimsnyder (Rob) of Gauthier, Mississippi and Jean Carolyn “Toots” Isaac of Covington. Brother of Ralph Isaac Pearl River, Louisiana. Eleven grandchildren Heather, Elizabeth, Gregory, Jean, Erin, Ashley, Jeff, Rob, Abbey, Ryan and Rachel, and 10 great-children. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Clifford, Sr. and Lillie Addaline Isaac. He served his country in the U.S. Army Security Agency during the Korean War. He was a charter member of St. Timothy on the Northshore United Methodist Church, a 32nd degree Free Mason and Shriner. A celebration of his life will take place at St. Timothy on the Northshore United Methodist Church in Mandeville Tuesday, December 10. The visitation will begin at 10:00 with a celebration service at 11:00 and reception following. The family has asked in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Timothy United Methodist Church “Samantha’s Playground”, 335 Asbury Drive Mandeville or the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Shreveport, Louisiana. ===================
