Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Sylvia Chatellier Leyva, Mr. Leyva was a native of Carlsbad, NM, and former resident of San Antonio, TX, Arlington, VA, Agana, Guam, New Boston, NH, San Jose, CA, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England and Aurora, CO. He was a resident of Madisonville since March 1998. Preceded in death by a daughter, Leslie Aileen, aged 3 ½. He is survived by two daughters, Victoria Leyva of Madisonville, LA and Felicia Leyva-Adams of Sandy Springs, GA and two sons, Ricardo Leyva of San Jose, CA and Stuart Jackson of Roxburgh Park, Victoria, Australia. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Morgan Thoryk of Chicago, IL, Cameron Leyva of Atlanta, GA and Michaela Leyva of San Jose, CA and Delilah Sylvie Jackson of Roxburgh Park, Victoria, Australia. Brother of Chita Gonzalez of Carlsbad, NM and Silva Navarette of Albuquerque, NM and the late Pedro Leyva, Porfirio Leyva, Tomasita Cerda and Joseph Leyva. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 at 11:00 am with Visitation on Saturday from 9:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in the Theodore Dendinger Cemetery. The family will hold a reception at Riverside Bar on Water Street in Madisonville following the Interment ceremony ===================
