JANET DOHERTY DWYER MATTERN,74, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, 
December 19, 2013, in Slidell.

Wife of Bob Mattern, and former wife of the late John Dwyer Jr.;
Daughter of the late Thomas and Norma Lannes Doherty;
Mother of Jennifer Ann Dwyer (Ricky), Cheryl Richardson (Clark), John J. Dwyer 
III (Cindy), William David Dwyer , Paul Martin Dwyer (Kimberly);
Sister of Robert Doherty, Richard Doherty, Mary Ann Tullier;
Also survived by 11 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A native of New Orleans, and a resident of Slidell for the past 43 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 1:00 P.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 11:00am.

Burial will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
