Joseph (Joe) C. Monteleone, a retired construction executive, passed away on 
Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the age of 79.

Mr. Monteleone was born in Dallas, Texas and lived in New Orleans, Metairie and 
Alta Loma, California. At the time of his death he was a resident of 
Madisonville, Louisiana. He attended Loyola and Tulane Universities. He 
enlisted in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean war and was 
awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

Beloved husband of Deanna Monteleone. Loving father of Karen Monteleone, Kim 
Monteleone (Craig Stevens), Greg Monteleone (Kay), Phillip Forbes (Angela) and 
Michelle Paddock (Shawn). 
Son of the late Carrie Vawter Monteleone and Joseph Monteleone. 
Grandfather of Andrew, Matthew, Jack and Charlie.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on 
Saturday, December 21, 2013 at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary St., 
Madisonville, LA 70447 at 1:00 PM with visitation at Church on Saturday from 
11:00 AM until Mass time.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
