John James “Buddy” Reese passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the age 
of 58.

Beloved husband of 27 years to Paula Holmes Reese. Loving father of Derrick 
Pellegrin (Katie) and Jamison Pellegrin (Kristian). Son of the late Louanna 
McPherson Reese and George Eugene Reese. Brother of Joan Reese, Sue Myler 
(James) of Baton Rouge, Katy Wells (Glen) of Denham Springs, Genny White (Roy) 
of Walker and Cooky Reese of Folsom. He is survived by grandchildren Dylan and 
Kayla Pellegrin and their mother Crystin Puderer and Kamiron, Masin, Paytin and 
Malliry Pellegrin also many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st 
Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 at 3:00 PM with visitation on Sunday from 1:00 PM 
until service time.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
