Mary Castagna Roberts, formerly of Westerly, RI, died on December 20, 2013, at 
her home in Covington, LA. 

Mary was born in Pawcatuck, CT on Sept. 3, 1914. She was the daughter of the 
late Joseph and Anna Maria Castagna. 

She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Mandeville, LA. She 
attended schools in Connecticut and worked at the Naval Air Station Quonset 
Point, RI and the Naval Education Center, Newport, RI when she retired. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond J. Roberts, two brothers, Dominic 
and Epifanio Castagna, and two sisters, Catherine Toscano and Rose Castagna. 

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Gale Helton, and 
granddaughter, Stacy Gregg.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, from 9 AM - 11 AM at E.J. 
Fielding Funeral Home in Covington, LA. Funeral Mass will be held in Westerly, 
RI. 

Interment will be in St. Michael’s New Cemetery, Pawcatuck, CT.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's 
Association.
