Born, Thursday, November 16, 1933 in Covington, LA to the late Maurice Joseph Schoultz and Lola May Schoultz. He was the devoted father of Kathryn Schoultz Balsamico, Jay Schoultz, and Michael Schoultz (Dana), and the late James Allen Schoultz, Jr., step-father of Freddie Primus, Jr. (Viva), Michelle Baker (David), Melinda Primus, Kenneth Primus (Katherine), and Gayle Timothy (Greg). Loving grandfather of Jessica Hornsby (Van), Charles Balsamico III, Grant, Mason and Natalya Schoultz, Brandon, Brittany, Dominique, Adrianna, Arianna, Percy, Kenneth Jr., Skyler and Whenton Primus, and Davionte Baker. Proud great-grandfather of Cole Hornsby, Bryson Primus, and Daelin Santiago, Jr. He was the Owner of Schoultz Grocery and Check Cashing in Covington for over 50 years where he was affectionately known as Mr. Shoots. He is remembered as a kind and gentle man who always wanted to help those in need and a supporter of the community. He was an Air Force Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He became a Christian in 2005 and joined soon after Covenant Christian Church. He was baptized at Faith Bible Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Faith Bible Church, 1148 N. Columbia St. Covington, LA 70433. Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, on Monday, December 23, 2013 from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment in Garden of the Pines Covington, LA.
