Carol Kroeper Zammit, age 78, of Slidell, passed away on Monday, December 23, 
2013, in Slidell.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, William F. Kroeper and Elvera 
Helmke Kroeper, and sister Shirley Kroeper Hinkel. She is survived by her 
brother William F. Kroeper Jr., children: Charles R. Zammit Jr., Daniel F. 
Zammit, and Lori Zammit Werner. She is also survived by grandchildren: Amanda 
Zammit, Laine Zammit, L J. Werner and Logan Werner and many nieces and nephews.

A native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Metairie, she enjoyed 
gardening, reading and spending time with family and grandkids. She will be 
missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013, at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 
1751 Gause Blvd West, in Slidell from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Funeral Mass will 
begin at 1:00pm.
