BRUGMANN, WILLIAM H., JR.
(July 8, 1923 - January 16, 2014)

On January 16, 2014, William H. Brugmann, Jr. went to his eternal rest.

Bill was born in Rutland, VT and grew up in New Jersey. He graduated from 
Tenafly High School. Bill served with the 8th Armored Division in Europe during 
WW ll. He received his BS degree in chemistry from the University of Virginia. 
While at UVA, Bill was a member of ODK, The Raven Society, Sig Ep fraternity, 
and lettered in baseball. Bill's professional career was with Standard Oil, 
ESSO, Humble Oil, and Exxon. In retirement, Bill was an avid collector of 
antique glass. He loved to play golf, tennis and garden.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents William H. Brugmann, Sr. and Sarita 
Pattison Brugmann, siblings Betty Collings, Peggy Wright, James Brugmann and 
his loving wife of 60 years Jeanne Brugmann.

Bill is survived by his son William L. and wife Carolyn, grandchildren Dr. 
William B. Brugmann, Dr. Bonnie Boudreaux (Darren) and sister in law Kathy 
Rosenbaum (Alan).

Bill was interned with Jeanne at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA.

The family would like to thank Hammond Nursing Home and Generations Hospice for 
the loving care they provided Bill in his last years.

All services were private.
