Melissa Marie Durbin-Luce left this world to be with the angels on Wednesday, 
January 15, 2014 at the age of 26.

Beloved wife of Derek Wesley Luce. Loving daughter of Dale and Bridget Durbin. 
Sister of Jonathan Charles Durbin. Also survived by one grandfather, Charles 
Doerr, Jr. and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Melissa was a native of Covington where she attended St. Peter Catholic School 
and graduated from SSA in 2005. She received her undergraduate degree from LSU 
and was beginning her third year of Law School at Southern University.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass to 
be celebrated by Rev. Mike Schatzle and Deacon Albert Ellis on Monday, January 
20, 2014 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave., Covington, LA 70433 at 
11:30 AM with visitation at church on Monday from 10:00 AM until Mass time.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Melissa to 
be made to the American Cancer Society please limit to research only
