OLYN E. MATTHEWS, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ford Joseph Matthews, Jr.
Mother of: Lawrence Michael Matthews; Lisa M. Stallings and husband, Mark and 
the late Ford “Buddy” Joseph Matthews, III and wife, Linda Lapeyrouse.
Daughter of the late: Lawrence G. and Alethea Faerber Englert.
Also survived by 6 grandchildren: Tia M. Stein and husband, Luke; Lawrence 
“Mikie” Michael Matthews, Jr. and wife, Brandy; Bradley Joseph Matthews and 
fiancée, Kelly Kontur; Tiffany June Swanson; Zachary “Zack” Kyle Swanson and 
the late Mark Edward Swanson,Jr. 3 Great- grandchildren: Haiden Matthews; Evan 
Swanson; Mason Stein.

She was 74 years old and a native of New Orleans.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Friday, January 24, 2014, from 10:00 A.M. until funeral time.
