She was the beloved wife of the late James L Watts of 47 years. She was the beloved and ever present mother to Andrea McGowan, Tanya Powell, and Nicole Brouillette. Daughter of the late Prisciliano Munoz and Antonia Alamilla Munoz of Belize, Honduras. She is survived by two sisters, one brother, much loved nieces and nephews, aunts, an uncle, her adored sister/brother/and mother-in-law, and many cousins. She had four treasured Grandchildren, Bridget and Bailey Brouillette, and Jillian and Connor Powell. She boasted daily of the blessings of her treasured son in laws and their families which she considered her own, those being: Michael McGowan, Joseph Powell, and Kirt Brouillette. She was born in Belize, Central America, graduating from St Catherine’s Academy, until moving to the United States in 1955, to further her schooling in New Orleans. She was employed at Jahnke Engineering from 1956-1965, where she met her husband, James L. Watts. That is when she found her life’s calling to be a dedicated wife and mother. She had many friends from her memberships with Foreign Born Wives Club, Red Hat Society, and her Legion of Mary Prayer Group. She was very spiritual, and dedicated each day to prayer and engracing herself with the daily care, activities, and celebrations of her children, in-laws, and her adored Grandchildren. She raised her family with love, music, dance, safety, elaborate stories of her childhood at Ambergris Caye, and laughter. She provided aide to anyone in need, praying with her Legion of Mary group in nursing homes, hospitals, and over those less fortunate. Her passions were her family, her garden, children and Grandchildren’s sports activities, and football. She never missed a party or celebration of her loved ones, being the first to arrive and the last to leave. Our gracious mother has left a large hole in the hearts of all that knew her. The celebration of her life will be held at St Margaret Mary Church, 1050 Robert Blvd Slidell, La on Friday, January 24, 2014. The visitation is to be held at 10am, with the Rosary to be held at 11am, followed by a Funeral Mass and Service at 12pm. Masses preferred in lieu of flowers. ===================
