ZUBER, LAURA CHATELLIER 
(March 12, 1916 - January 30, 2014)

Laura Chatellier Zuber passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at her home in 
Madisonville, LA.

Sissy was the beloved wife of the late Henry “Hank” Zuber of 27 years. Loving 
sister of Ralph David Chatellier, the late Wesley Maur Chatellier and Grady 
Hoffman Chatellier. Dear aunt to Butch, Linda and Wesley, Charles and Maury, 
Lyndell, Edmond, and Michael Chatellier. She leaves behind numerous great 
nieces and nephews.

A lifelong resident of Madisonville, Sissy was a retired beautician. 
During World War II, she worked at Higgins Shipyard building parts in support 
of the war effort. 
She was a beautiful ballroom dancer and fantastic artist. She was a strong, 
independent woman and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends of the 
family are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, February 3, 2014 
at Madisonville Presbyterian Church, 705 Pine Street, Madisonville, LA 70447 at 
12:00 PM with visitation from 11:00 AM until service time. 

Interment will follow in Theodore Dendinger Cemetery, Hwy 21, Madisonville, LA.
