BASFORD, SHIRLEY MAE 

On Thursday, February 6, 2014 Shirley Mae Basford of Pearl River, Louisiana 
passed away at the age of 86 years. 

She was survived by her children Cyril Joseph Basford, Deborah Basford Brown, 
and one brother William Christopher Basford. Ms. Basford was also survived by 7 
grandchildren Jennifer Kenjerski, Jason Basford, Scott Basford, Heather Brown 
Randolph, Victor Brown Jr., Courtney Brown Allen, Summer Brown and 6 great 
grandchildren Sophie, Abigail, Sebastian, Victor, Emma, and Joseph. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Cyril Joseph Basford, daughter Kathleen 
Basford, her parents David and Rosalie Weir, her sister Nell Rose Songy and her 
brother Raymond Weir. 

She was a parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. 

Ms. ShirleyÕs family would like to give a special thanks to friends and staff 
at Greenbriar Nursing Home. 

Her services will be held at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Pearl 
River, Louisiana on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 visitation from 10:00AM until 
1:00PM with service starting at 1:00PM. 

Interment will follow at Hickory Memorial Gardens Cemetery located in Pearl 
River, Louisiana.
