Mamie Steen Brown, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the age of 79.

Beloved wife of the late Aubrey Donald Brown; mother of Audrey Dell Garrity, 
Patricia Brown Martin, the late Nancy Jo Brown, the late Rebecca Jo Daniels, 
Ruby Carol Brown Theall, and the late Robert Donald Brown.

She is also survived by two sisters, and multiple nieces and nephews. Mamie was 
a devoted grandmother to seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A native of Kosciosko, MS, Mamie made a career of raising her children. One of 
her great joys was listening to Elvis, as well as being an avid Casino hopper.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 2:00 P.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 12:00 noon.

Memorial Gifts may be made to St. Joseph Hospice.
