Giles Loren Cornwell, age 56 of Sun, LA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, 
February 22, 2014, at his houseboat, The Relax Inn, Bush, LA. Born, Friday, 
August 23, 1957 in St. Ignace, MI to Vern Cornwell and F. Lorraine Cornwell.

Survived by his beloved wife Sue Cornwell, son Jeremiah Cornwell, daughters 
Kelle Montenegro, Tesha Thomas, and Amy Cornwell, father Vern Cornwell, 
brothers Gary Cornwell, Glenn Cornwell, Gene Cornwell, and Greg Cornwell, 
grandsons Trey Rodrigue, and Mark Danko granddaughters Destinee Duet, and Jada 
Danko. He was predeceased by his mother F. Lorraine Cornwell, father-in-law Fit 
Melancon and mother-in-law Bonnie Melancon.

Giles worked for Boh Brothers Construction Co. for 32 years. He lived in St. 
Tammany Parish for the last 28 years. He will be missed very much by his family 
and friends and his dog, Lady.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM on 
Thursday, February 27, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. 
Covington, LA 70433.

Visitation on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 9:00 AM to service time.

Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Covington, LA. Please come dressed 
casual- NO SUITS.
