JONES, LINDA JOYCE 
(March 25, 1947 - February 24, 2014)

Linda J. Jones, 66, a resident of Covington, Louisiana, and a native of 
Hueytown, Alabama, passed away on February 24, 2014, in Mandeville, Louisiana. 
Linda graduated from Hueytown High School (1965) and Jacksonville State 
University in Jacksonville, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Edward Jones and her step father, 
J. Grady Lee, and aunts Blanche DeMent, Betty Owens, and Carolyn Farrington.

She is survived by her mother, Gene Lee of Hueytown; her sister, Anne Carlisle 
of Hueytown; her very special friend, Frank Nix of Tulsa, Oklahoma, nephew Gary 
Carlisle and wife Johnnie of Jemison, Alabama; nieces Adele Brown and husband 
Dale of Helena, Alabama; Tracy Briggs and husband Dayrl of Clinton, Tennessee; 
Trisha Dunckley and husband Tommy of McCalla, Alabama; 5 great nieces, 5 great 
nephews, 2 great-great nieces and several cousins. She is also survived by host 
of Facebook friends.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
