He is survived and mourned by his wife, Kirstyn {Kaely) McArdle, and his children Heath Gaynor McArdle, age 9, and Brigid Hays McArdle, age 4, as well as his mother, Rosemary Hays-Thomas, PhD, of Pensacola and sister Robin Lowe of Yonkers, NY. Dr. Lowe was the son of the late Randall Harrison Lowe, PhD, of Peterborough, NH, and Greenville, SC. He was the grandson of William and Dorothy Hays of New Orleans and Harry and Jenny Lowe of Peterborough, NH, who predeceased him. Dr. Lowe was a Board Certified family practice physician at the Riser Medical Clinic in Picayune, Mississippi. He was a graduate of Washington High School in Pensacola, FL; Louisiana State University; the University of South Alabama Medical School; and the internship and residency programs of the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. Dr. Lowe was born in Rantoul, IL, at Chanute AFB Hospital and lived briefly in Champaign, IL; Greenbrae, CA; San Antonio, TX, with longer periods in Fayetteville, NC; Clemson, SC; Baton Rouge, LA; and Pensacola, FL prior to his medical training. He will be sadly missed by family, friends, colleagues, and patients who loved and respected his knowledge, generosity of spirit, and gentle humor. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m., at PattonÕs Restaurant, 127 Cleveland Ave, Slidell, LA 70458. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Poverty Law Center, American Diabetes Association, Habitat for Humanity, or a charity of oneÕs choice ===================
