Virginia had an unwavering faith in God and was a member of First Baptist Church of Pearl River, La. She was a Sunday school teacher and a loyal member of the Ladies Bible Class, the Jolly Elders, PTA and Lions Club. Always quick to smile and provide encouraging words, she had a wonderful sense of humor that brightened even our darkest days. A devoted mother and homemaker, Virginia was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends and was most famous for her brownies and chocolate cake. Virginia was the Pearl River Lions Citizen of the Year in 2004 and was extremely active in the community. She was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Saints and LSU. Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, George Malcolm Moray, Jr., her son, George Moray, III, and her brother, William Walcutt. Virginia is survived by her children, Dixie Fogg, Dennis Moray, Tim Moray, Roxanne Moray and Rachel Cutrer, all of Pearl River. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 5:00--9:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home, Pearl River, La. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM with the service beginning at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Pearl River. Burial will follow at Honaker Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell, La.
