She was born on Tuesday, October 29, 1946 in New Orleans, LA to Thomas Joseph and Rose Anna Burdge Terre and a resident of Madisonville, LA since 2001. The beloved wife of Charles V. Wild, Jr. for 47 years, she is survived by one son - Scott Michael Wild; her daughter - Stacy Michele Wild; one brother – Thomas Joseph Terre, Jr. and two grandchildren, Devin and Mason Wild. Her parents preceded her in death. Louan graduated with the Class of 1964 from Holy Angels Academy in New Orleans. Her career as a legal administrator and commissioned notary public eventually led her to the McGlinchey-Stafford Law firm. She retired in 2001 after many years of loyal service to the New Orleans and Little Rock offices. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Anselm Catholic Church, a lifetime Weight Watchers member, a former member of the American Legal Administrators Association and the Past President of Adoptive Couples Together. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours on Wednesday will begin at 2:00 PM. Following mass, Louan’s body will be cremated. In the near future, her family will gather privately for the interment of her ashes. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to all the medical staff that cared for our loved one. Their dedication and commitment will forever be appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. ===================
