GAVIN N. BURAS, 50, of Lacombe, LA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 
2014.

Father of Dallen Buras, Gavin Buras, Gabrielle Buras, and Blake Buras;
Son of Roger and Ruth Buras;
Brother of Tasha Tammy Buras, Veranda Daigrepont, Lori Buras, Veronica Buras, 
and Donna Buras;

He is survived by one granddaughter: Dalilah Buras; one grandson to be born; 
and the mother of his children: Inger Olson Buras. He is also survived by a 
host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A native of Boothville, Louisiana, and a resident of Lacombe since 1970.
Gavin worked as a commercial and residential stucco and plaster professional, 
and was an avid fisherman, hunter, and a talented musician and songwriter.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at 5:00pm at First 
Baptist Church of Lacombe, 27351 Hwy 190, in Lacombe.

Gavin will be remembered for his talents, generocity, love of life, family and 
close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of 
Lacombe, Louisiana.
