Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2014/st1403.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== Kathryn (Kathy) Muller Calahan passed away at home after her brave battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS or Lou GehrigÕs disease). She was 66. Daughter of the late John and Lillian Muller. She is survived by her most loving and dedicated husband of 38 years, Dan Calahan. Beloved mother of Shelley Smith Hogan (Chris) of Atlanta, GA. Step- mother of Danielle Calahan Sears (John) of Orlando, FL. Grandmother to her beloved Riley and Cole Hogan and Patrick and Kelly Sears; and her brother John Muller of Picayune, MS. Kathy, a native of Arabi, LA, graduated from Chalmette High in 1965, then obtained her RN degree from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She was a well known and highly respected professional in all aspects of the New Orleans Health Care and Managed Care community. Kathy was a mentor and inspiration to so many as well as a loyal and great friend. She will be sadly missed. In her lengthy career, she worked for Methodist Hospital, the Internal Medicine Group, Health America, Brown McHardy Clinic and she ended her career as Vice President of Health Services for The Oath of LA. A small service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Monday from 9:00 AM until service time.
