JOSEPH ÔJOEÕ CONFORTO,71, died on Friday, March 14, 2014.

Preceded in death by his parents, Peter Conforto and Rita Ragas Conforto and a 
brother, Pete Conforto.

Survivors include his wife, Priscilla Mcgee Conforto, daughter Carolyn Conforto 
Hendry(Chris),a sister, Barbara Conforto Foret, a half sister, Ramie Hymel, two 
grandchildren, three stepchildren, Louis, Melissa and Christina Tortorich, 
seven step-grandchildren, an uncle, Bill Ragas, sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-
law, godchildren and many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was a native of New Orleans, a longtime resident of Slidell, he graduated 
from St. Aloysius High School and attend Tulane University. He retired after 
over 30 years in the automotive industry.

Throughtout his life Joe devoted much of his time to the church and delievering 
the word of God, touching all those around him.
His passion for the church was matched only by his love of storytelling and 
making others laugh.
He devoted several years to playing ÒSantaÓ out of his love for children.
He truly brightened otherÕs lives and never met a stranger.
He was affectionately known as ÒPapaÓ by all those who were close to him.


Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial
Services at the Church of King of Kings, 57030 Allen Road, Slidell, LA
on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 3:00 P.M.

Interment will be private.

Donations to S.T.A.R.C., 1541 St. Ann Place, Slidell, La. 70460, preferred, in 
lieu of flowers.
