MARLON H. HUTSON, 78, of Hickory, LA, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014.

Mr. Hutson is survived by his wife of 57 years: Dorris Rushing Hutson; two 
children: Donna Dietrich (husband Steve) of Madison, Alabama, and Jay Hutson of 
Hickory, Louisiana; two sisters: Joyce Phelps, and Betty Jones;
three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Earl and Gladys Hutson, and a brother 
Alvin Hutson.

Marlon was a native of Summit, Mississippi, and a resident of the Slidell area 
for over fifty years.
Mr Hutson retired from Lockheed Martin/Michoud Facility in New Orleans, and was 
a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Slidell.

Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.
Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 9:00am.

Burial will be held on Friday, at Pike Memorial Gardens, in McComb, Mississippi 
at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the St. Tammany Humane 
Society or the St. Francis Animal Sanctuary in Tylertown MS.
