JAMES ARTHUR MOORE, known as Ò ArtieÓ to family and friends,age 61 years, 
passed away at his home in Texas surrounded by his loved ones, on Thursday, 
March 20, 2014.

Artie was born in Jonesboro, La. to the late Harold Ray Moore, Sr. and Dixie 
Kathryn Moore and grew up in Hammond, La. He later moved to Baton Rouge, where 
he raised his family. In 1996 he moved to Cypress, Tx, where he was a Math 
Teacher at Langham Creek High School.

Beloved Husband of Debbie Brownlow Moore and father of Kate Becki Moore and 
Jennifer Moore Rossel (Julio).

Brother of Harold Moore, Jr. (Marsha), Joseph Moore (Terrice) and the late 
Michael Moore (Kathy).

Also survived by 5 grandchildren, Victoria Moore, Kyra Dalrymple, Kaleb 
Dalrymple, Evelyn Dalrymple, Katie Dalrymple and will be greatly missed by his 
dog, ÒScoutÓ.

Artie loved teaching and was dedicated to his students. Overall he was an avid 
sportsman who loved golf, baseball, track and basketball. He also loved to cook 
and was a gifted landscaper and gardener.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 Gause Blvd. WEST, Slidell, La., on 
Friday, March 28, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Friday after 12:00 P.M. until funeral time.

Flowers, Masses or Donations to the charity of your choice in his name, are 
appreciated.
