Mary Jane Olson, age 70 of Covington, LA, died on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at 
her residence.

Born Wednesday, September 01, 1943 in Houston, TX to the late Aubry Smith and 
Norma Raye Culkin. 

Survived by her Husband Dan Baird Olson, Daughter Donna Marie Rome and husband 
Mitchell, Son Mark Henry Nienaber and wife Piper Renee Hill, Daughter Bambi 
Nell Lopez, Brother Virgil Milton Sparks and wife Cynthia Douglas, Sister Dena 
Chapman Lanclos and husband Roderick Anthony, Grandchildren Destinee Nicole 
Raiford, Alexis Teresa Rome, Ciara Ariel Lopez, Savannah Rose Sticker, Cheyenne 
Angelle Lopez, Layla Chanell Nienaber, Tyrone Tynell Oates, Jr., Great-
grandchildren Jaiden Michael Schmidt and Kayde Bradley Raiford, Niece Stacey 
Marie Sparks Mejia and husband David, Nephew Joshua Milton Sparks and wife 
Abbye Willison and Nephew Jody Lee Nicely and wife Leane Scherer.

She was preceeded in death by her first husband Anthony George Loicano, Jr. and 
her second husband Terry Henry Nienaber.

A native of Port Sulphur, LA and a resident of the Northshore for the past 37 
years. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM on 
Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue 
Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 12:00 PM to 
service time. 

In Lieu of flowers donation may be made to St. Jude Children's Research 
Hospital
