Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2014/st1403.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== Doris Marie Gleason Sanderson, affectionately known as ÒDotÓ, passed from this life on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the age of 81, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Mandeville. A native of New Orleans and longtime resident of Mandeville, she was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She spent her final years as an active member at the Mandeville Senior Center with many loving friends. She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law; Elizabeth Sanderson Ezell, Georgette Sanderson Camet, Julie Sanderson LeMaire and her husband Charles; a daughter-in-law, Darlene Sanderson; grandchildren Sherri Sanderson Dragon, Jason Camet, Heidi Sanderson MuleÕ, Joey Camet, Beau Guidry, Kali Sanderson Cook, Chelsey LeMaire, Alisa Shay Guidry, Aubrey LeMaire and Chase LeMaire; seven great grandchildren; her brother, Edwin Charles Gleason, Jr.; and her three faithful poodles, Apple, Munchkin and Celie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sanderson, her sons Edwin Sanderson and Henry Sanderson, her parents, Edwin Charles Gleason, Sr. and Myrtle Kettleberger Triay; her brother, Larry Gleason and her sister, Anna Haupt. In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made to the Doris Sanderson Memorial Fund (http://www.gofundme.com/7pfr2c), which will be distributed to causes that she loved, including organizations such as the Mandeville Senior Center, the Humane Society and St. Francis Animal Sanctuary. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Mandeville this past Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Immediately following Mass she will be laid to rest with her loving husband, Paul, at the Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi. ===================
