WHITE, MARY GILLIS 
(June 14, 1927 - March 1, 2014)

Mary Gillis White passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the age of 86.

Beloved wife of the late Curtis Harold White. Loving mother of Millie White 
Buras (husband, Wayne). Daughter of the late Willie Sullivan Gillis and Tom 
Huey Gillis. Grandmother of Allen Buras (Jennifer) and Ryan Buras (Simone). 
Great-grandmother of Avery, Beau, Ella, Yvette and Giselle Buras. Sister of 
Lucille Honig and the late Mildred Gill.

Formerly of Crystal Springs, MS and a resident of Covington for the past 50 
years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services 
on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, 
Covington, LA 70433 at 3:00 PM with visitation on Sunday from 1:00 PM until 
service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Mrs. White 
to be made to Faith Presbyterian Church or Hospice of St. Tammany.
